The JD Cymru Leagues have today announced that Andy Morrison and Michael Wilde have been named the Manager and Player of the Month for April.
April saw The Nomads pick up five victories in a packed month of seven games, scoring nineteen goals along the way.
The month started out with an emphatic 5-1 victory away at Latham Park to conclude Phase One and while disappointment would follow the week later at home to Penybont in our first home defeat in over two years, The Nomads bounced back in style.
A 6-1 win over Caernarfon Town was followed up with consecutive wins over Barry, Bala and TNS, including our first ever victory at Park Hall in the shape of a 4-1 victory.
Having scored his 200th Cymru Premier goal in later March against Haverfordwest, Wilde was on the scoresheet against Newtown and Caernarfon before bagging his 50th Nomads' league goal against Barry - he then went on to net a stunning first half hat-trick against TNS in a victory that would prove pivotal in deciding the fate of the JD Cymru Premier title.
