Connah's Quay Nomads are pleased to announce the signing of 22 year-old defender, Ryan Harrington.

Wrexham-born Harrington spent three years at Everton's youth setup before being picked up by Scottish side Aberdeen, joining their U20 side before stepping into the reserve team. He then went on to enjoy a loan spell at Montrose in Scottish League One where he played 25 games before joining The New Saints in July 2019.

During his time at TNS, Harrington featured heavily throughout the season and has also represented Wales at U19 and U17 level.

On Harrington's arrival, Andy Morrison commented; "I'm delighted to bring Ryan in, he's trained with us and his application and the way he's trained has been fantastic - Ryan's got many qualities but he's also got areas to work on, but the crux of a defender is being able to run, being athletic, fit and strong - he has all those qualities and that's the first thing I look for in my defenders."

Harrington will wear the number 4 shirt at Deeside and is available for Friday night's game against Llanduno.
