Connah's Quay Nomads can today confirm that a pre-contract agreement has been signed by Jordan Davies to join Scottish Championship club, Greenock Morton.

Davies was part of our first ever Scholarship team that won the Welsh Schools FA U19 Cup in 2015 with a victory over Treorchy in the final at Park Hall.

Jordan returned to The Nomads in June 2021, however left in May 2022 having joined Haverfordwest County after spending a loan spell there for the second half of the 2021/22 season, but returned for a third spell at the club at the beginning of the 2023/24 season.

Davies has gone on to be an important part of our impressive forward line that has so far scored almost 60 goals in the league campaign, with Davies currently joint second top scorer in the league on 15 goals having won the Player of the Month award for the league in September.

Davies' record at the club currently stands at 24 goals in 40 starts in all competitions and he will join the Scottish Champinoship side ahead of the 2024/25 campaign.

Whilst Davies has signed a two year deal at the Scottish club, he will remain with The Nomads and a key part of our strike force until the end of the current season. Good luck in the future Jordan and hopefully you can sign off in style from The Nomads.
