Connah's Quay Nomads can today confirm that Friday night's fixture against Caernarfon Town will be Callum Morris' last game for the club.

Following Friday night's fixture, Callum will head to start a new life in Dubai as he starts up a new property renovation company in the United Arab Emirates.

Morris joined The Nomads in June 2015 and has gone on to etch his name into the history of the football club having spent just under nine years at the club and featuring in many of the club's most important moments.

Friday night's match will mark Callum's 295th competitive start for the club, and his 225th in the JD Cymru Premier, whilst also featuring 26 times from the bench - he has scored 82 competitive goals for the club and 91 including friendlies, but two that will stick in everyone's minds will be his hugely important goals in two of our European clashes.

The first being his match winning strike in the July 2016 victory over Norwegian side Stabæk in our first ever European tie - a tie which we won 1-0 after drawing 0-0 in the first leg at Rhyl, but perhaps more famously was Morris' penalty against Scottish side Kilmarnock. With The Nomads leading 1-0 on the night and drawing 2-2 as it stood on aggregate at the time, Jamie Insall was fouled on a breakaway attack giving The Nomads a high pressure penalty, but Callum stepped up to score one of, if not, the biggest goal in the club's history.

During his time at The Nomads, Callum has picked up almost every trophy he has competed for as a two time JD Cymru Premier champion, one time JD Welsh Cup winner and two time Nathaniel MG Cup winner as well as being a runner up in the Scottish Challenge Cup.

On his departure, Callum commented; "Leaving Connah's Quay Nomads after nine years feels surreal!

From the highs of winning trophies to the incredible European nights, it's been an amazing journey. I will be forever grateful for the memories and the friendships made along the way.

I would like to thank all my teammates, coaches, the chairman and all of the volunteers who have been involved with the club throughout my time here.

The club has had great success during my time here and I wish everyone the best moving forward.

It's been an honour being a part of this club and as I move on to a new chapter I'd like to thank Connah's Quay for an unforgettable journey!"

Good luck Callum for the future and thanks for being a huge part of the most successful time in the club's history.
