The Nomads are delighted to announce the signing of striker, Les Davies on a two year contract.

Davies joins The Nomads from Welsh Premier League rivals, Bangor City, having played for The Citizens since 2007.  During his carrer, Les has scored 106 goals in 314 league games, including spells at Caernarfon Town, Porthmadog and most prominently at Bangor City.  In July 2012, Davies was nominated for the UEFA Best Player in Europe Award.

With a strong pedigree in the Welsh Premier League, and the third highest scorer of all time in the league, Davies will boost The Nomads’ attacking options for the upcoming season and joins a raft of summer signings for the ambitious Deeside team.

A Nomads spokesman said: “Over the last five years, we've been involved in at least half a dozen transfers with Bangor, with players moving both ways - no doubt there will be more to follow.  We have a healthy respect for Bangor City and their fantastic fan base, and we appreciate how sensitive these moves can be - we experienced the same when Rhys Healey left for Cardiff City.

We are honored that such an established, quality player has agreed to join The Nomads and both Allan and Jay look forward to working with Les."

Davies will wear the number 10 shirt at Deeside.
