The Nomads are pleased to announce the signing of 30 year old midfielder, Tom Field.

Field joins The Nomads having briefly spent some time with Bangor City this pre-season having left Stockport County recently. Field is best known in the Welsh Premier League for his time at Airbus where he made 89(+7) appearances for The Wingmakers from 2012 through to 2016. During this time, Field scored 25 goals and was instrumental in Airbus' qualification for the UEFA Europa League. Field originally began his career at Everton before spells at Stalybridge Celtic, Vauxhall Motors and AFC Telford.

Following his arrival, Manager Andy Morrison said "I've worked with Tom at Airbus and Northwich and I know exactly what he can bring to our squad - on his day, Tom can be as good as any midfielder in the Welsh Premier League. He can score goals as well as create opportunities and it is that creative side that I have felt we have lacked in certain games. As with all of our summer signings, Tom has to reach the fitness levels and standards I demand of everyone and once he is at that level, I am sure he will play a massive part in the season ahead. Welcome to the Club Tom."
