Congratulations to Michael Bakare who was this weekend named as the JD Welsh Premier League Player of the Season.
Bakare was announced as the award winner at the JD Welsh Premier League Awards Evening at our own hotel partner, Village Hotels at St David's Park on Saturday night.
Unfortunately, Michael couldn't be there on the night but the award was received by John and Roma Gray on the evening and a small video message was sent over by Michael regarding the award.

Bakare had a fantastic season for The Nomads which started out winning the Man of the Match award in our away defeat at Shaktyor Soligorsk back in August. He then went on to net a brace in our opening JDWPL game which saw a 7-0 victory away at newly promoted Llanelli Town. He went on to score 17 goals in all competitions including a stunning strike in the Irn Bru Cup final against Ross County and was named as Andy Morrison's Manager's Player of the Season for the team.
Bakare was also named in the JD Welsh Premier League Team of the Season alongside George Horan while John Danby made the subs bench of the squad.
Congratulations to Michael for a fantastic season.
