Roberts confirmed for new campaign

Connah's Quay Nomads are pleased to confirm that 23-year-old defender, Dan Roberts has signed a new one year deal with the club.

Roberts originally joined The Nomads' First Team in January 2023 having previously been a part of The Nomads' Scholarship programme in 2017/18.

During his formative years, Roberts spent a lot of time at Rhyl and Llandudno Junction and previously worked under Neil Gibson through spells at Prestatyn Town and Flint Town United.

Since joining The Nomads, Roberts has been a part of the squad that has twice qualified for the UEFA Europa Conference League Qualifying Rounds and also the JD Welsh Cup this past weekend. Roberts has made 18 competitive starts along with 15 substitute appearances during his time at The Nomads.

On re-signing for the club, Roberts commented; "I'm really pleased to commit to the club for another season - I'm looking forward to achieving more with the great group we've got and fighting for more silverware."
