Magic Mike returns with a bang

Mike Hayes made an outstanding return to The Nomads first team hitting four goals in his first game back during his loan spell from Airbus UK.

Bala Town suffered a tough start to the game as midfielder Connall Murtagh was sent off early and The Nomads took a lead through an own goal from ex Nomad Ben Collins.

Youngster Ryan Edwards finished a nice move to grab his first goal for the first team before Mike Hayes completed a hat-trick putting Nomads 5-1 up at one point.

Lee Hunt reduced the deficit from the penalty spot for Bala, but Hayes soon added a fourth to his personal tally before a late Mark Jones finish proved little consolation as Nomads ran out 6-3 winners.
