TREVOR GREEN

Matchday Co-ordinator

Trevor is an experienced administrator who began helping to run a football club when injury ended an undistinguished career as a goalkeeper. The injury also ended participation in county level tennis and his ambition as a semi-pro minor counties fast bowler. Whilst sports coaching as a Butlin's Redcoat wasn't very successful, he did discover a talent for caring. He has spent the past 40 years working professionally in a variety of settings around the UK, with people who have learning disabilities.

As Trevor moved with his career, he became an officer at local non league clubs Maidstone United, Ryde Sports, Stamco St Leonard, Ossett Town and Glasshoughton Welfare. He also commentated as non league correspondent for BBC Radio's Solent and Leeds and administered the Isle of Wight representative team in the Island games of 1991 and 1993.

Since moving to Wales, Trevor has mastered the complexities of National Domestic Licensing and he is especially passionate about The Nomads, because we are a club that is so keen on youth development which Trevor believes is the only sustainable way to success in Welsh Football.
