Danny Forde

Salford-born former Oldham Athletic youngster who had spells at Barrow and Ashton United before joining the club in January 2008. A tenacious midfielder who added bite and skill, he became a regular in the side in the heart of midfield and occasionally captained the team.

Danny was a key part of the side which won back-to-back Huws Gray Cymru Alliance titles in the 2010-11 and 2011-12 season. Forde made over 140 starts for The Nomads during his time on Deeside, weighing in with 26 goals, his last of which was a winning strike against local rivals Airbus in March 2014.

Danny left The Nomads in July 2014 due to work commitments.
