Connah's Quay Nomads tough task of three games in six days will be completed on Friday evening as Chris Hughes brings his Newtown side to Deeside Stadium.
Andy Morrison will be looking to avoid three straight defeats in the league for the first time since his arrival in November 2015 following a 2-0 defeat away at Barry Town United which was followed up by a 1-0 defeat at the hands of Caernarfon Town here on Tuesday night.
Despite the result, Morrison was pleased with the performance saying "We head into another tough game - our third in six days against Newtown and although I was disappointed with the result on Tuesday night, our performance was pleasing up until the final third - when we improve that, the results will follow."
Going into the game, Newtown currently sit 6th in the league having won two, drawn one and lost two, however they are just two points behind The Nomads and will no doubt be looking to leapfrog a number of teams. The last time The Robins came to Deeside was in late December 2017, when Michael Wilde bagged a brace as The Nomads ran out 4-0 victors.
