MATCH PREVIEW: NOMADS HEAD NORTH OF THE BORDER ONCE MORE

Thursday night will see Connah's Quay Nomads head to Rugby Park to take on Kilmarnock in the second leg of the UEFA Europa League First Qualifying Round.

The Scots come into the game with a 2-1 lead following a late turnaround at Rhyl last Thursday. The Nomads took the lead in the 75th minute as Greg Taylor turned a Callum Roberts cross into his own net, but it was unfortunately Roberts who then gave away a penalty just seven minutes later which Eamon Brophy duly converted. And, in thie third minute of injury time, Stuart Findlay found space inside The Nomads box to score with pretty much the final touch of the game to send the travelling Scots home happy with a 2-1 lead.

Andy Morrison was understandably disappointed following the result but knows that the challenge won't ease up this week as Killie will have even more fans at Rugby Park this week than those who travelled to Rhyl last week.

The game kicks off at Rugby Park at 7:45pm on Thursday night and is only being broadcast on the subscription-based Kilmarnock TV, so make sure you follow our social media channels for all the latest updates on the night.
