MATCH PREVIEW: NOMADS HEAD TO TOP WITH TRIP TO BALA

Friday night will see Connah's Quay Nomads aim to pick up our first victory of the new JD Cymru Premier campaign with a trip to top of the table Bala Town.

Bala have started the season well, going unbeaten and picking up a 3-1 victory over TNS early in the season while The Nomads are also unbeaten but are yet to pick up a win despite dominating most of the three games played so far.

Our last trip to Maes Tegid saw a returning Nathan Woolfe hit a hat-trick in a 4-1 victory in April, so Andy Morrison will be hoping for a similar result on Friday night, but woud also settle for a victory regardless of the score no doubt.

Ahead of the game, Morrison said "Our games against Bala have always been close encounters and I expect this game to be just the same.

Bala have had a summer free from European football and look invigorated - they have invested wisely and added real quality to an already strong squad. Their win against TNS shows they are going to be a major force again this season."

The match kicks off at 7:45pm at Maes Tegid with the game being covered on our Twitter account.
