MATCH PREVIEW: NOMADS LOOK TO CONTINUE FINE RUN WITH DRUIDS IN TOWN

Connah's Quay Nomads will be looking to continue our fine run of form as we welcome Cefn Druids to Deeside Stadium on Tuesday night.

The Nomads are currently unbeaten in the 2019/20 season having drawn three and won three of their opening games since our European adventures againts Kilmarnock and Partizan Belgrade.

Druids will be coming into the game looking to bounce back from their recent run of games, having lost against Aberystwyth last time out and drawing with Caernarfon the week before.

The Ancients' last visit to Deeside saw The Nomads run out 3-1 victors back in October 2018 as goals from Callum Morris, Michael Bakare and Rob Hughes provided the perfect comeback for The Nomads who had trailed to an early Nathan Peate goal, before John Danby saved a Neil Ashton penalty.

Ahead of the game, Andy Morrison said "They're a really wounded animal after the Aberystwyth defeat - Aberystwyth got beat ten by TNS and then they've gone to Druids and beat them so I know how hungry they're going to be, I know how aggressive they'll be. They've had the preparation time to get it right and we're in for a real challenge.

If our players do what they do well and do what we ask of them well, follow the process of what we go through to win a game of football, it'll be very difficult for Druids to get a result here - it'll be about us doing things right because I know they've got many many threats in the team, got good players and I'm sure Huw will come with a plan to cause us problems knowing that we've had a real challenging game against Cove and that they've had those extra days rest."

The game kicks off at 7:45pm at Deeside Stadium and will be covered live on our Twitter account.
