UEFA Europa League

Thursday night will see Connah's Quay Nomads compete in the UEFA Europa League Second Qualifying Round clash with Serbian giants, FK Partizan.
The side, better known as Partizan Belgrade, have been here before and have encountered our captain George Horan back in 2008 - a tie which finished 12-0 to the Serbs on aggregate after picking up a 4-0 victory here at Belle Vue over Rhyl.
We will be hoping to put up more of a solid defence against the side who were European Cup runners up in 1966 as they lost out 2-1 to Real Madrid in the final at Heysel Stadium in Brussels.
It will also be a clash of two former English Premier League Players as Andy Morrison will face off against ex Aston Villa striker, Savo Milosevic, who know manages the Partizan side he once played for.
Ahead of the game, Andy Morrison said "Things have settled down after a euphoric few days. Everyone connected with the club have rightly bathed in the glory of our victory over Kilmarnock.
Whilst the staff, myself and the players could have a few days rest, there are those who had to start the preparation immediately The work that goes into preparing for a European game is huge and if you are fortunate enough to progress twice in four years as we have done, then I can't tell you the amount of work that has to be done to get everything in place. To those who have to pull that off, I salute you.
In comparison, Craig, Jay and I have the relatively simple task of preparing for the Serbians - I say simple because nothing changes from the way we prepare for this game to the way we will prepare for Buckley or Rhyl in the League Cup.
Last Thursday was a special occasion and there were some emotional scenes at the end - so many people have had different journeys to Kilmarnock. The feelings of warmth and togetherness after the game were something that will stay with all of us for a long time.
You need a platform in life to showcase your talent and again the platform was there for all of us - manager, coaches and players, to make an impression and it was taken. What we must do now is work with the same desire and honesty, remain humble and keep demanding of each other and I'm sure that those platforms will continue to present themselves to us all."
The game kicks off at Rhyl and will be streamed live on the S4C Clic platform as well as the Sgorio Facebook page.
