Connah's Quay Nomads will tonight be looking to pick up another three points and head towards to the top of the JD Cymru Premier as Aberystwyth Town visit Deeside Stadium.

The game marks the third game in just six days for The Nomads, while Aber haven't been in action since last Saturday, however The Nomads have found ways to win our past three games 1-0, securing a vital six points in the league as well as progression in the Scottish Challenge Cup.

Aber's game last Saturday saw them lose out 2-1 at home to Airbus with ex-Nomad Andy Owens getting the winning goal for The Wingmakers. Prior to that, Aber had beaten Cefn Druids 2-1, bouncing back from their 10-1 drubbing at the hands of TNS.

The last time Aber came to Deeside saw a tight affair end 2-1 in The Nomads favour with Michael Wilde and Michael Bakare getting the all-important goals to secure the three points on that occasion.

Andy Morrison knows that Aber will prove a tough test tonight, and is looking for an improvement from his players saying; "We've got a damaged animal - they were beaten by Airbus who got their first points on Saturday, so they're going to come all fired up - it's our third game in six days and it's going to be a big ask but looking at the boys in the dressing room, the intensity's in their eyes, the desire is definitely there - they're aggressive and I can see the fire in them, but you've got to have fire and ice - it's got to be fire to win the game and show that desire and then there's got to be ice - there's got the be the flip side of it when you're in possession of the ball and at the minute we're coming up a bit short in that department, but we'll keep working at it and the boys are honest and they will find a solution."

The game kicks off at 7:45pm at Deeside Stadium and will be covered live on our Twitter account.
