Connah's Quay Nomads will be looking to keep our domestic unbeaten streak in tact this Tuesday night as we welcome Caernarfon Town to Deeside Stadium.

Due to the tight nature of the top half of the table, results over the weekend saw us fall from second to fourth thanks to victories for TNS and Bala, and Caernarfon who sit just behind us in fifth position, were afforded the weekend off due to our Scottish Challenge Cup fixture, meaning their last game was over 10 days ago.

Our last encounter with Sean Eardley's side saw a battle at The Oval end in a 0-0 draw, while our last encounter here at Deeside ended in a 6-2 victory back in February.

Caernarfon's form
As previously mentioned, Caernarfon's last game was a 1-0 victory over current champions, TNS and prior to that, the side from The Oval had won games against Newtown, Aberystwyth and Penybont in September.

Current standings
The match holds a great potential for both sides with The Nomads currently sitting fourth on 19 points while Caernarfon sit just one place and one point behind The Nomads in the league. Both teams have the opportunity to leapfrog a number or sides in front of them and finish the night in second position behind Barry Town United.

From the Manager
Ahead of the game, Andy Morrison said "Caernarfon have progressed from last season - having kept their group together in the summer and added real quality, it's no surprise the start they have had to this year's campaign.

I don't think any other team in the league could have three key players missing and still beat TNS as they did in their last outing, so we are well aware what a good outfit this Caernarfon squad are.

Having made the playoffs last season, I'm sure they will be expecting European football next season."
