The New Saints FC vs Connah's Quay Nomads
JD Cymru Premier
Saturday 18th January 2020 | 5:15pm
Park Hall, Oswestry

Saturday evening will see The Nomads head to Park Hall to face The New Saints in the final game of Phase One of the JD Cymru Premier.

The Nomads head to TNS' Park Hall Stadium, just a point behind the league leaders and sitting five points ahead of third placed Bala Town after last weekend's results.

Recent Form
The Nomads come into the game on the back of four successive victories since our 2-0 defeat at Cefn Druids, having defeated Bala Town, Barry Town United and a Christmas double-header against Airbus.

The Saints are on a similar run of form, having won their last three games, their most recent a 2-0 victory over Newtown last Friday, preceeded by wins over Cefn Druids over the Christmas period, however Cardiff Met left Park Hall with all three points in mid-December following a 2-1 victory, marking their second home defeat of the season, having earlier lost to Barry back in September.

From the Manager
Ahead of the game, Andy Morrison spoke to Nik Mesney; "First and foremost, we're going to the home of the champions - we have to respect that - they've been the champions now for many years and you've got to be doing a lot of things right to stay at the very top. We've closed the gap - it's got closer now - I think in Craig Harrison's last year in the job which was three years ago we were 20 points adrift at this stage and they were preparing for the League Cup final which they went on to win - that's a lot different this time..."
