Connah's Quay Nomads vs The New Saints FC
JD Cymru Premier
Friday 21st February 2020 | 8:00pm
Deeside Stadium, Connah's Quay
Friday night sees the top two teams in the JD Cymru Premier meet as Connah's Quay Nomads host The New Saints in a live Sgorio game.
The Nomads head into the game currently sitting atop the league and a win on Friday night would open the gap to four points over TNS, who have drawn at Bala and lost at Newtown so far in Phase Two of the league campaign.
The Nomads' first two games of Phase Two have seen Andy Morrison's men pick up six points with a 1-0 victory at Barry Town followed by a 4-0 win over Caernarfon Town at Deeside Stadium last Friday. As previously mentioned, TNS lost their first game of Phase Two 2-1 to Newtown, following that up with a 1-1 draw at Bala Town last Friday night having trailed 1-0 early in the game.
TNS' last visit to Deeside
The last time TNS came to Deeside saw The Nomads continue their unbeaten start to the season to 13 games with a 1-1 draw. The Saints took a lead through Dean Ebbe in the 61st minute before Michael Wilde netted against his former side in the 81s minute.
