Saturday afternoon will see Connah's Quay Nomads head to Cyncoed Campus to face Cardiff Met.

The game will mark the first of three away games in seven days for The Nomads with Saturday's match followed up by visits to The New Saints and Barry Town United.

Met's Form
Christian Edwards' side currently sit in tenth postiion having won just one of their opening seven fixtures in the campaign along with two draws and four defeats. They currently find themselves on a three game losing streak having lost to Penybont, Caernarfon and Barry over the last two weeks.

Met's only victory of the season thus far came on the opening day thanks to a late comeback to defeat Aberystwyth Town 3-2 at Park Avenue.

Previous visits to Cyncoed
Games at Cardiff Met over the recent years have often been extremely closely fought affairs, none moreso than last season's game which saw a 93rd minute own goal give The Nomads the latest of late victories. Our previous encounter, back in October 2018 was one of the few games which saw a slightly larger winning victory with a 3-1 win for The Nomads just a week after Met had defeated TNS 4-1.

Our overall record against Met reads;
Played: 17
Won: 11
Drawn: 4
Lost: 2

From the Gaffer
Ahead of the game, Andy Morrison said "We have alwasy had close games against Cardiff Met with last season's away game being decided with the last kick of the game.

Like ourselves, Met have key players missing and this is something that no manager wants, but throughout the season it happens and again, we will have to find a way to get the result we are looking for."
