Park Hall, Oswestry

Tuesday night will see The Nomds head to Park Hall to face TNS in the JD Cymru Premier.

The match was originally scheduled for Matchday 2 of the league campaign, but ended up clashing with our UEFA Europa League fixture against Dinamo Tbilisi so was rearranged accordingly.

Form Guide
Both teams come into the game in a run of fine form with both sides undefeated in the league so far this season, with The Nomads leading the league table, one point ahead of TNS.

Saturday's victory over Cardiff Met marked The Nomads' sixth successive victory in the league since our opening day draw against Bala Town with wins against Penybont, Haverfordwest, Aberystwyth, Cefn Druids and Caernarfon prioer to Saturday's away victory.

TNS also come into the game in extremely similar form, having won all six of their opening games of the campaign, with the one game that almost ended a draw against Bala ultimately abandoned and scheduled to be replayed on Wednesday 11th November.

Previous Encounters
Our last match against TNS ended up being the deciding result in the 2019/20 league season with Craig Curran's winning strike deep into first half injury time giving The Nomads the vital three points that ultimately won the league. Our last trip to Park Hall was our last defeat in the league back in late January - The Nomads dominated much of the game and took a deserved early lead before TNS equalised through an unfortunate own goal, and then seconds after The Nomads had a penalty appeal turned down TNS broke to score the winner.

From The Gaffer
Ahead of the game, Andy Morrison said "I'm under no illussions - the start they've had - I don't think they've conceded a goal yet and they've got maximum points so I've got to respect that and give great credit for that. Again, the players that have been there for many years are still pulling the strings and still producing results - never have I ever had a problem whatsoever with TNS and their group of players - the players have always been the strength there and their character, they've shown that again this season."
