PLAYER-manager Mark McGregor rescued a point for Connah's Quay with an 80th-minute equaliser as Haverfordwest paid the price for earlier missed chances.

The Nomads trailed from the 41st-minute when summer signing Jamie Bradford headed home a free-kick at the far post.

Despite dominating the first-half, the Bluebirds only had the one goal to show for their efforts as Nomads stepped-up a gear after the break.

Two goalmouth scrambles could have produced an equaliser before McGregor ran into the box to head past keeper Lee Idzi from a Sam McNutt cross.
