Connah's Quay Nomads are delighted to announce that Craig Curran has signed a new two year deal at the club.

Curran arrived at Deeside in late January with more than 150 games in EFL League One and over 100 games in the Scottish Premiership under his belt. He made his debut as a second half substitute in the Nathaniel MG Cup Final and was unlucky not to get on the scoresheet in the game.

Curran then went on to make five consecutive starts, scoring in back-to-back games against Caernarfon Town and also the vital winning strike against TNS in late February, whilst also supplying two assists in an impactful five games for the 30 year old.

On his contract extension Craig said; "I'm delighted to sign permanently with the club - I want to thank the Manager, Jay, Craig, the chairman, fans and everyone associated with the club for looking after me since I came here - and the lads for making me feel welcome since day one.

I've been very impressed with the professionalism of evryone and the hunger and desire to win games and trophies from the coaching staff through to the players.

I'm looking forward to playing a bigger part in building on what was a fantastic year from the lads and staff last season with the main aim being to keep the league title at the club next season and of course we get to experience the Champions' League which we will all be looking forward to."

Andy Morrison added; "We were delighted when Craig joined us for the run in to the 19/20 season. He was very impressed with how we do things and has agreed to join us permanently. We're delighted to have Craig at the club and he will bring experience and quality to our squad."
