Connah's Quay Nomads are pleased to announce that Danny Harrison has signed a new one year deal at the Deeside Stadium.

Harrison originally joined The Nomads in January 2015, making his debut in a 1-0 victory over Bala Town at Maes Tegid.

Since joining the club, Harrison has gone on to be a regular fixture in the side, playing in the club's four Europa League campaigns and the Scottish Challenge Cup.

During his time at Deeside, Harrison has picked up silverware in the form of the JD Cymru Premier, JD Welsh Cup and also the Nathaniel MG Cup.

On his new deal, Harrison said; "Obviously I was delighted to sign another year and the opportunity to play Champions' League football is amazing as it's something I've never experienced in all the years I've been playing.

I have been a part of this journey for a number of years and I'm excited and looking forward to next season.

Ultimately we are defending champions and that has to be our mindset and focus moving forwards alongside competing in all domestic cup competitions."

Manager, Andy Morrison added; "The level of my respect and admiration is no secret when it comes to Danny Harrison - along with George Horan and Callum Morris, Danny has been with me since day one.

Danny has not only maintained, he has improved his performances season on season and sets the standards that others follow."
