McCormick double at end of season awards

This past weekend saw The Nomads hold their annual end of season dinner and awards evening at the Village St David's Park Hotel.  The event was greatly attended with over 180 players, staff and fans in attendance.  The main winner of the evening was Terry McCormick, who picked up both the Player's Player and Manager's Player of the season awards.

Other first team awards went to Sean Smith who was awarded Young Player of the Season and Gary O'Toole won the Golden Boot award.  The DACS Academy Player of the Year Award was won by Jamie Roberts of the club's U16 team, as part of which Jamie won both the National Cup and National Futsal competition.

The overall club goal of the season went to Luke Holden for his final day effort against Afan Lido.

In memory of Gareth Roberts, there was an award named in his honour, the Gareth Roberts Best Attitued of the Year AWard which was picked up by U14 Owen Hibbert.
