The Nomads are pleased to announce that 23 year old midfielder, Callum Morris has signed a new two year deal with the Club.

Morris joined The Nomads in June 2015 and in his first season at Deeside scored 16 goals in 37 competitive appearances for The Nomads and was named in the WPL Fans' Team of Phase One, as well as the WPL Team of the Season. Morris was a key figure in The Nomads' successful second half of the season, scoring a number of crucial goals as The Nomads climbed the table towards their eventual Europa League Play-Off success.

Upon signing the new contract, Morris said "I'm very happy to have signed this new deal and looking forward to playing in Europe. I'm really looking forward to the new season, and having made some good signings I don't see why we can't be challenging for the league title."

The Nomads' Manager, Andy Morrison commented; "We're delighted to re-sign Callum for the next two seasons. For me, he's got the attributes play at a much higher level - if we see the same progress out of him this season as we did in the second half of last season and he maintains his desire to improve, I have no doubt that he will."

Morris will travel with The Nomads in their first pre-season game of the season at Northern Irish side Cliftonville next Saturday.
