Congratulations to Ryan Wignall who has today been named in the first Sgorio 'Five-on-form' of the new season.

Wignall was named in the team following his performance in The Nomads' 4-0 victory over Prestatyn Town where he provided two first half assists to Jay Owen and Callum Morris, before setting up Michael Wilde in the second half. Wignall was denied a deserved goal just minutes after assisting Wilde's goal, when Carl Jones blocked his effort from inside the box as Wilde attempted to return the favour.

Following the news, Andy Morrison said "There is no doubt that Ryan is a top player at this level. But for injuries, I have no doubt the he would be playing in the Football League - what he must do now is stay fit and produce that level of performance week-in, week-out."
