Wilde picked for 5-on-form

Following his match-winning performance against Bala Town on Friday night, Michael Wilde has been named in this week's Sgorio 5-on-form team.

Wilde has started the season well for The Nomads, scoring three goals in four JD Welsh Premier League appearances thus far, sitting joint top of the goalscoring charts in the league. Wilde's 44th minute header against Bala Town was enough to secure a slender 1-0 victory for Andy Morrison's side on Matchday 4, and Morrison spoke about Wilde's recent performances, saying; "To be a number nine in any team of mine, you know you are going to be worked hard and have to play a major part in what we try to do. Last year, Les [Davies] and Mike [Wilde] carried that load between them, but this year, Mike has had to battle away on his own, and I have already said this season just how happy I am with his performances. You never stop learning and Mike has adapted and improved his game in so many ways since he joined us just over a year ago."
