Connah's Quay Nomads can today confirm that the duo of Conor Harwood and Joe Sullivan have joined Welsh National League side Brickfield Rangers on loan until January.

The duo were recently promoted to The Nomads' first team squad ahead ofthe Europa League campaign, both travelling with the squad to Finland for The Nomads' second leg match against HJK Helsinki.

Harwood made Welsh Premier League history as he was the first Millenium-born player to play in the league as he came on as an 88th minute substitute against Airbus on Boxing Day 2016.

Academy Director, Jay Catton said; "Conor and Joe have progressed well through The Nomads Academy and first team over the last few seasons, with both having broken their way into the first team squad, training with the group on a weekly basis and regularly being on the bench in Welsh Premier League games. Along with this, both players were selected for Wales Schools and Colleges last season which shows the level that the two players are at.

The short term loan to Brickfield will give them more senior experience in their development in a very good league where they will join fellow former Academy Scholars, Chris Boyes and Callum Cross who are already at the club."

Good luck to both Conor and Joe from everyone at The Nomads.
