Connah's Quay Nomads are pleased to announce the signing of highly-rated left-back, Laurence Wilson from Bangor City.

Wilson was one of the league's standout performers in the 2017/18 campaign for the Citizens, whom he joined in August 2016. Laurence made over 40 appearances for Bangor in his time with the club, making his debut in a 2-1 victory over Cefn Druids. Prior to his arrival at Bangor, Wilson had played at Mansfield Town, Chester City, Morecambe, Rotherham United and Accrington Stanley, having originally started his career as an Everton youth player.

Wilson was a runner up in the 2005 European U19 Championship when England lost out to France and had previously been capped at U18 level for the Three Lions.

Wilson arrives at The Nomads with over 300 career appearances to his name and will bring a wealth of experience with him.

Andy Morrison said "We're delighted to bring in Laurence - his experience and quality will bring a different dimension to our offensive play."
