Danby and Horan named in second consecutive WPL Team of the Season

Congratulations to John Danby and George Horan who were yesterday named in the Welsh Premier League's Team of the Season for the second consecutive season.

Danby and Horan were integral parts in The Nomads' backline, with Danby starting every JD Welsh Premier League game of the campaign, keeping 15 clean sheets in the process, and only conceding 29 goals - three less than champions TNS.

It is the second season in a row that both have been named in the official Welsh Premier League Team of the Season and manager Andy Morrison praised the duo saying; "That's back-to-back team of the years for both George and John. They are both outstanding professionals and again, if you look after yourself and keep the desire and huger to be the best you can be, age is just a number."

Additionally, new signing Danny Holmes was listed as the right back in the team, while outgoing defender Kai Edwards was also named among the substitutes.
