Connah's Quay Nomads can today confirm that 21-year-old right back, Jake Phillips has joined Bangor City on a season long loan.

Phillips joined The Nomads in in June 2017 ahead of our 2017 Europa League campaign and made his debut against HJK Helsinki as a second half substitute in Finland. Since then, Jake has gone on to make 10 starts and 13 substitute appearances in all competitions for The Nomads.

In August 2017, Phillips became one of The Nomads' first ever full time professional players and now becomes one of Craig Harrison's first signings alongside another ex-Nomads in Les Davies who has rejoined Bangor in the Cymru Alliance.

On Jake's loan move, Andy Morrison said "This is a great opportunity for Jake to get some really important game time - he has all the qualities to go far in the game and I'm delighted he has the chance to develop his game at Bangor."

Good luck Jake from everyone at the club.
