Digital Match Programme - Nomads vs Barry

Date Published: Thursday, 18th April, 2019 - 11:43pm by Nik Mesney

Connah's Quay Nomads will be offering a free digital match programme for our final home game against Barry Town United on Saturday afternoon.

Due to an oversight by Media Officer Nik Mesney, print deadlines were unfortunately not met for the final home game of the season and as a result we are only able to offer a free digital version of the matchday programme.

Nik commented to say "I'm genuinely gutted to have missed out on this programme going to print as I chose to feature the fans who have been so great this season on the front cover, but hopefully they will still see that it was a genuine mistake. I've been personally making the artwork for the programmes since our return to the Welsh Premier League in 2012 and have not missed a single print deadline in that time, but I just genuinely forgot that Friday was Good Friday so it transpired that I wasn't going to get the artwork to our printers in time.

Hopefully our digital format programme will suffice for those who like to read a matchday programme and I can only apologise again.

I am also interested to see how well a digital format programme is received as a number of teams in the English pyramid spoke about going digital only at the beginning of this season, so it could prove to be an interesting (albeit accidental) experiment."

You can check out the full 32 page programme which includes features from contrubutors Will Catterall, Trevor Green and David Rapson along with our usual content including match reports and latest club news. There is also an open letter from John Gray following his recent induction in the club's Hall of Fame.
