The SPFL have today confirmed that our visit to Partick Thistle in the Tunnock's Caramel Wafer Cup will take place on Saturday 12th October with a 5:15pm kick off, live on S4C.

The game will mark The Nomads' fourth tie against Scottish opposition this season, having already faced Aberdeen in pre-season, Cove Rangers in the previous round and most memorably, the double header against Kilmarnock in the UEFA Europa League.

The game will be broadcast live on S4C and kicks off at 5:15pm at The Energy Check Stadium at Firhill in Glasgow.

On the tie, Andy Morrison said "We head to Glasgow for another challenge against a Scottish Championship team - ideally you want to get a home tie against a lower ranked team, but the opportunity to make the quarter finals is one we will relish."

Partick Thistle currently sit bottom of the Scottish Championship having lost three and drawn one of their opening four games in the league campaign. They are managed by ex-Scotland international Gary Caldwell and their squad includes ex TNS defender, Steven Saunders as well as veteran striker Kenny Miller.
