Connah's Quay Nomads and Flint Town United are pleased to announce that Academy players of both our own Academy and that of Flint will both be allowed free entry to Tuesday night's Nathaniel MG Cup game.

The game sees the first competitive clash between the two sides since Boxing Day 2011 where The Nomads earned a 2-1 victory thanks to goals from Gary O'Toole and Rob Jones at Cae-y-Castell.

Academy players will need to arrive at Deeside Stadium in their respective Academy tracksuit to gain free entry. Additionally, one U16 spectator will be granted free admission with a full-paying adult.

The game kicks off at 7:45pm at Deeside Stadium and the winners will progress to the semi finals where the cup's regional draw will end meaning that teams from north and south could be drawn against each other.

Following the announcement earlier in the year regarding the potential ground share at Cae-y-Castell, this is a fantastic step in bringing the two communities closer together.
