Connah's Quay Nomads, alongside other members of the JD Cymru Premier will be proudly taking part in this weekend's activities for Rainbow Laces 2019.

Many LGBT people live and breathe sport, but 4 in 10 think that sport isn't welcoming. Whether we're cheering or competing, we are all at our best when we feel part of the team and we can all lead the way by doing little things to be more inclusive.

You can show your support to the event by buying your own laces online here >

But don't get hung up if the laces don't work for you, there are plenty of other ways of showing your support:
• Turn the laces into braids to wear on wrists, ankles or anywhere else
• Wear rainbow face paint on the fan bus to Penybont
• Bring rainbow flags to the Penybont match

Supporter's Liaison Officer Will Catterall commented; "As a flagship club in Welsh footall, we're committed to ensuring the game is for everyone and are pleased to once again be committed to this weekend's Rainbow Laces initiative. As a club, we've set our own high standards for inclusion and are proud to be maintaining them throughout our senior setup, ladies team and renowned academy."
