Connah's Quay Nomads are pleased to announce the signing of Aron Williams from Buckley Town.

Williams originally came up through the ranks of The Nomads Academy, winning the Welsh Premier U19s league in 2012 and making his debut for the first team as a second half substitute against Prestatyn in the Welsh League Cup in September 2013.

Since leaving Deeside, Williams hass been playing for Buckley Town in the JD Cymru North making over 60 appearances for The Bucks, netting 20 goals in his time at The Globe.

On returning to The Nomads, Williams said "I'm really happy to be rejoining the club after coming through the academy system. It's great to see the progress the club has made over the last few years and I can't wait to get started!"

Andy Morrison commented on Aron's return to Deeside saying; "He was mentioned to us on a few occassions - we went across and had a look at him and he's got great physical attributes, he's very very quick, probably as quick as anything we have at the club, he's strong and athletic and he has a desire to play football and a desire to improve. It's an incredible opportunity for him to join a club like ours and I'm looking forward to working with him - a lot of work to do but we feel he has the potential to be a very good player."

Williams will wear the number 21 shirt and is available immediately for selection.
