Morrison previews The Nomads' trip to Aber

Date Published: Thursday, 11th January, 2018 - 9:38am

Ahead of The Nomads' final game of the JD Welsh Premier League Phase One, Andy Morrison spoke to the Club's website to give his thoughts.

Real test
"Aberystwyth will be a real test - they have been very good at home and will feel they should have beat Cardiff Met in their last away game, as all teams this season, on their day, can beat anyone."

Under no illusions
"They have had some great results - after our home game where we beat them 5-1, they bounced back the following week with a 7-1 victory over Prestatyn, so we are under no illusions as to just how tough of a game this will be."

Much needed break
"We will look to continue our good form and go to Aber on the front foot and look to win the game. We then have a break which is much needed within the camp - lots of players are playing with knocks and slight injuries, so a break will allow us to rest up and treat those players and be ready for the JD Welsh Cup game against Porthmadog on the 27th January."

The Nomads' final game of phase one takes place this Saturday at 5:15pm as Morrison's side face Aberystwyth Town. Be sure to keep up to date with all the latest news on matchday by following our Twitter feed.
