Following The Nomads' 2-0 victory at Cardiff Met, Andy Morrison spoke to Nik Mesney to give his thoughts.
Delighted
"I'm delighted today... we did all the dirty stuff really well and kept a clean sheet which is always important and we also offered a real threat on the counter-attack in the second half... we had threats to stretch them - really pleased with everyone today - you can't really pick anyone out because it was such a thoroughly professional performance."
Back on track
"I thought John [Danby] had very little to do - a header at the end of the game, but apart from that we've really stifled a very good Cardiff Met team and the lads have got to take great credit for that - it puts us back on track, it puts us back to where we wanted to be after two games, so a great afternoon."
Never gave them any opportunities
"We're very resolute, we're hard to break down and when we get our noses in front, that's probably the most pleasing thing - we never gave them any opportunities, everybody did their jobs, everybody stayed disciplined..."
