Connah's Quay Nomads are pleased to announce the appointment of Craig Harrison as full time First Team Coach.

The position had been advertised for the past two weeks since Neil Gibson departed the role to take up the managerial vacancy at Prestatyn Town in the Huws Gray Alliance.

As Harrison was under contract to Bangor City, he was required to request permission from the Chairman to formally speak to Connah's Quay Nomads about the vacancy and his general desire to return to a full time role.

This request was granted this morning, terms were negotiated and significant compensation to Bangor City was requested and agreed between senior connections at the respective clubs.

Commenting on the transaction, Victoria Roycroft, Chairwoman said;
"We are delighted to have secured the services of Craig to join the management team at the club.

His track record in the Welsh Premier League is outstanding and his experience of managing a full time club will greatly assist our own transition to full time status.

I must comment on how professional Bangor City were in this process - it is never easy losing a manager and Connah's Quay Nomads, as a club, wish them the best of luck in their quest to reclaim their rightful place in the Welsh Premier League. Over the years, there has been a steady exchange of players between the two clubs and we hope this continues in the future."

Upon joining the club, Harrison said;
"I'm delighted to join the club and returning to full time football. I'm looking forward to working with a great group of players and working with them on a daily basis and obviously working alongside Andy, as I've known Andy for a long time and have great respect for the fantastic job he has done so far.

I'm very much looking forward to getting back to full time football and supporting Andy moving forwards."

Welcome to The Nomads Craig!
