Earlier this week, Wales C Manager, Mark Jones named his team of Phase One of the JD Welsh Premier League, and it featured John Disney, Callum Morris and Ryan Wignall.

Morris has hit double figures in the goal scoring charts finishing the first phase on 10 goals as well as providing three assists, while Wignall has weighed in with five of his own in the league and six assists. The highlight of the campaign for Morris was his hat-trick at Maesddu Park in late September when The Nomads defeated Llandudno 4-0.
The duos's fine form has seen them both named in the Sgorio 'Five-on-Form' team of the week on a number of occasions, and have added another three goals and one assist in the domestic Cup competitions between them.
Disney meanwhile has featured in every minute of every game in the first phase of the league campaign since his return to Deeside. The only minutes that Disney has missed in the entirity of the 2018/19 season so far have been in the Nathaniel MG Cup fixture at Bala where he came on as a late second half substitute, but has played every minute of every league, Welsh Cup, Irn Bru Cup and Europa League Qualifying fixtures.
On the trio being named in the XI, Andy Morrison said; "I'm so pleased that three of our players have been recognised for their performances in the first phase of the season.
John Disney's consistent performances week-in, week-out have been a joy to watch - I was so pleased to sign John in the summer and I think it speaks volumes for our relationship that he took a significant pay cut from last season at Bala to re-sign for Connah's Quay.
Callum has continued to grow as a player and a man this season - he has shown great leadership qualities for such a young man and I expect Callum to continue his growth.
Coming into the full time programme has allowed Ryan the opportunity to work on his fitness and the results have been there for everyone to see. I've gone on record many times and said that when Wiggy is at the top of his game, he is the most gifted player in the Welsh Premier League."
Congratulations to all three at the club and hopefully their form will continue into the Second Phase of the season.
