Cook comes to the Quay

Connah’s Quay Nomads are delighted to announce the signing of Jacob Cook on a season-long loan from Championship side, Swansea City.

18-year-old Cook has been a part of the Swansea City setup since he joined them at U9 and has since gone one to undergo his two-year scholarship at the Swans. Cook has also featured for the Wales International setup and was a part of the team that qualified for the 2023 UEFA European Championships, and went on to play in the finals in Budapest, Hungary.

Jacob signed his first professional contract at Swansea in January 2025 through to the end of June 2026 with an option for an additional 12 months and went on to be named as the club’s U21 Player of the Season at the end of the last campaign.
