JJ joins Nomads

Connah’s Quay Nomads are delighted to announce the signing of 28-year-old defender James Jones following his recent departure from Chester.

The Wrexham-born defender started his career at The New Saints before spending time at Altrincham, Barrow and more recently Chester - during his time at Altrincham, Jones played alongside current First Team Manager, John Disney.

During his time at League Town Barrow, Jones made 54 appearances, scoring three times - this spell was sandwiched by two spells at Altrincham in the National League which saw Jones make over 185 appearances for The Robins.

Following our recent victory over Barry Town United, John Disney spoke about the arrival of Jones at the club.

Jones will wear the number 28 jersey and is available immediately for selection.
