First Team Manager John Disney commented:
"As all of the first team staff have done with each player, I would like to personally thank all of the players moving on from the club for their hard work, dedication and commitment whilst at Connahs Quay Nomads. As ever with good players leaving the football club after a successful season, questions will be asked as to why, however, each conversation was handled with professionalism, honesty and integrity from both sides. Whether decisions were made for footballing, work or personal reasons, we wish them all the very best moving forward with their careers.
"This time last year we had one player signed for the 25/26 season and as it stands at the time of this article due to the backing of the owner and the players buying in to our new programme, we have 10 for our European campaign and 2026/27 season already before our current campaign ends, as we always say, EVERYONE has played an integral part and I speak on behalf of everyone involved with the first team staff as we now look forward to plan and prepare for Europe with the extremely good players already under contract who want to be at the club moving forward and the recruitment process to strengthen the club for that part of the club's journey has started already and will be announced in due course."
