European Opponents Confirmed

Connah's Quay Nomads can confirm our opponents for the 2026/27 UEFA Conference League First Qualifying Round will be FC Ballkani.

The draw was made on  Tuesday at UEFA Headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland and saw the Nomads drawn out of the pot against the Kosovar side. 

A return to Kosovo was confirmed for The Nomads as we were drawn against fifth highest seeds, FC Ballkani, who finished third in the Kosovan Superliga last season, finishing nine points and four places above Prishtina who we faced in the 2021/22 Europa League. Ballkani are three time winners of the Kosovan Superliga and have featured in European competition every year since their first qualification in 2022. They made it to the Group Stages of the Conference League in both 2022 and 2023 but finished bottom of their respective groups on both occasions.


We will be hosting the first leg before travelling out to the second leg. 


Although both the first leg and second leg fixtures are initially scheduled for Thursday, 9 July and Thursday, 16 July, UEFA will send out full confirmation of location and kick-off times for the fixtures, which are expected within the next two days.
