Connah's Quay Nomads are pleased to confirm the return of Ryan Stratulis on a permanent basis.

The dynamic 20 year-old midfielder has signed a one year permament deal at the club having featured heavily for The Nomads in the early part of last season during his loan spell from Tranmere Rovers before picking up an injury which unforutnately kept him out of the team until the tail end of the season.

Stratulis made his Nomads debut as a second half substitute against Airbus last August and went on to make a total of 13 starts and eight substitute appearances, finding the net twice for The Nomads with impressive goals against both Bala Town and Caernarfon Town. Stratulis would also provide a number of key assists during his appearances and will no doubt be looking to add to his statistics in the upcoming campaign.

On joining the club permanently, Stratulis commented; "I'm buzzing to be back and really looking forward to the new season - it's a great opportunity for me to play regularly and improve as a player."

Manager Neil Gibson added; "I'm really pleased to get Ryan back with the group on a permanent basis - we saw first hand last season what he is capable of first hand during his loan spell with us. He's someone with a lot of potential who we are looking forward to working with - he's an exciting player who brings goals and assists to the group and he is at the age where I am really looking forward to working with him to help him improve. He's athletic, fit and really wants to improve and be coached to get better."
