Kershaw joins The Nomads

Connah’s Quay Nomads are delighted to announce the signing of 20-year-old midfielder Ben Kershaw.

Kershaw joins The Nomads having spent time at Rochdale U18, Stoke City U21 and most recently Hyde United in the Northern Premier League.

Born in 2003, the Englishman came through Rochdale’s youth system before moving to Stoke City in 2022 - Kershaw scored on his debut for Stoke City’s U21 side against Newcastle United.

On signing Kershaw, First Team Manager John Disney commented; “I am delighted to announce Ben has signed for us, a player I have kept tabs on whilst he has been playing at Stoke for two years but also someone that has developed in men’s football the last 12 months with Hyde.

Ben brings a freshness and very good technical ability to our midfield and one that will flourish in the Welsh premier league to kick us back in to the top half of the league. I look forward to seeing Ben's development under ourselves."
