Mikey began his career at the Stoke City Academy before being picked up by EFL League One team Huddersfield Town where he progressed through their academy to the U21 team. Stone made a loan move to Liversedge to gain first team playing experience before going on to play for Scottish eague One side Hamilton Academical before spells at north west side, Altrincham and Macclesfield. In the Summer of 2026, Mikey featured in the United States, playing for Oakland County in the TST 7vs7 tournament that also featured Wrexham.
