Friday evening's fixture will see Connah's Quay Nomads host The New Saints as first meet second in the JD Cymru Premier.

The match gives the opportunity for The New Saints to secure the JD Cymru Premier title should they pick up a point or more, so no doubt Neil Gibson and his side will be looking to delay that happening for as long as possible.

Previous Encounters
The two sides met earlier this season at Deeside Stadium just before Christmas in a game which saw George Horan put The Nomads in front before TNS managed to avoid their first defeat of the season deep into injury time when Gwion Dafydd equalised with just seconds left to play.

Our recent home record against TNS has been a good one having picked up five victories and three draws in our last 10 games including the penalty shootout victory in the opening game of this campaign.

The Nomads come into the game on the back of a 1-1 draw at Penybont while TNS picked up a late victory over Bala in their 1000th Cymru Premier game on Tuesday night. Prior to these results, The Nomads had picked up two draw and a victory in the Cymru Premier Championship Phase whilst TNS suffered their first defeat of the season at Cardiff Met in early February before a victory over Newton and a draw against Penybont.

The Referee for Friday night's game will be Huw Jones who was last in charge of a Nomads game in early December as we picked up a 2-1 victory over Airbus.
